Function

Most importantly, it keeps you dry!

The umbrella also has an automatic opening and closing function, making it easy to operate with one hand. Press the button to fold the umbrella and then press the ends together until it says 'click'. See the video below for a demonstration.

The umbrella has an extra joint in the 'ribs' which means that if a very strong gust of wind turns the umbrella inside out, it will not break and can therefore be folded back quickly.

The hand strap makes it convenient to carry around in your hand, hang on the stroller or on a hook in the wardrobe.

It also protects you from UV rays.

Materials

The frame is made of fiberglass to ensure strength and flexibility that will make the umbrellas last for many years.

The umbrella fabric and bag are made of 100% rPET material which is water-repellent and dries quickly.

Handle in lovely cork, which is long enough to make the umbrella comfortable to hold in your hand (unlike many other bag umbrellas).

The logo is printed with reflective material so the umbrella is better visible in the dark.

The '215/365' label refers to the many rainy days we have in Denmark (215 rainy days per year).

The cardboard packaging is made with cardboard that comes from certified responsible forestry.

Recycled plastic

The fabric for the DRIP umbrellas is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles (rPET).

rPET is characterized by having high wear resistance, durability and water resistance.

rPET production produces 65% less carbon than "virgin" polyester, and uses 90% less water.

Be seen in the dark!

A study from the Norwegian Institute of Transport Economics shows that reflectors reduce the risk of being hit by a car by 85 percent when it is dark. The DRIP Denmark logo on all umbrellas is reflective so you can be seen better in the dark!

We have designed a quality umbrella with a timeless design that is characterized by beautiful details and useful functions.

The handle is made longer than on most bag umbrellas, and made of cork, to make it extra comfortable to hold.

Most importantly, cork feels great in the hand!

Cork comes from the bark of cork oak trees. In fact, the cork oak is the only tree that does not die when the bark is removed. Cork oak trees can live to be around 160 years old and every 9 years the cork bark can be gently 'harvested'. As the bark grows back over time, it pulls huge amounts of CO2 out of the air.
